2026 Girls Select League

GIRLS SELECT IMPORTANT DATES

Girls Select Players must tryout in order to be considered for a spot on a Select team

If unable to attend the Select tryout session, an individual evaluation can be requested (see below for contacts)

Girls Grades 5 - 8 SELECT Lacrosse

The Select League is for players with advanced skills to play in highly competitive games, played on Friday nights vs. local Select teams across the region.
Select is an add-on league to Travel with a full 7-game, plus playoffs
Cost - $250 (Financial assistance is available)
Top players across each grade groupings are chosen during tryouts
Playing time is not equal, nor guaranteed. Emphasis will be on good sportsmanship with the goal of winning games to make the Championships

Commitment:

In addition to Travel Team commitments, Select Practice 1x/week starting April 2.
Players need to be able to attend all Select weekly practices and games. Any exceptions should be discussed with the coaches.
Friday night games 1x/week starting early April, ending Mid-May for regular season, and early June if a team makes the playoffs. Milton girls Select teams have made playoffs for the past 10 years running, and in to the Championship game for almost all most of those! (2026 Select Game dates listed below)

Eligibility - To play in the SELECT league a player must:

Every player MUST play for their town Classic Travel team each week in order to participate in Select League Play. This means:
- In addition to the weekly Select Team Practice, each Select player must fully participate in their Travel Team practice and in Sunday's games.
- Select players are encouraged, but not required to attend their age groups' skills practices if those are on a different night to the Select practices.
Any team having been found of having an ineligible player participating in a Select Game:
- First Offense: Team loses that game 1-0
- Second Offense: Team will not be eligible for the Playoffs
Reside in the town they are registered to play for
Players must tryout in order to be considered for a spot on a Select team
